Back in 1995, The Webguy was taking care of the Internet needs for a rather large, national mortgage company. Back then, in his spare time, he also worked on his own website, the-webguy.com. Over the years the website grew in popularity, primarily catering to an international group of Aerosmith fans.
Fast forward to today and The Webguy finds himself older, less focused on maintaining servers and websites, and victim to a circumstance involving an overly aggressive spam filter and a domain name blackmailer. As a result, The Webguy lost his domain name of nearly 14 years (the-webguy.com) and accordingly decided that the time was right to forget the past and embrace the future.
